What was the highlight of L'ermitage - Franschhoek Chateau & Villas
Very nice accommodation and only a short drive from town.
Lovely location, the villa that we stayed in was superb…lovely size rooms with a fantastic outside area, overlooking the lake and with a great view of the mountains. The breakfast selection was very good.
Unfortunately, there was a large amount of maintenance work going on so there was quite a lot of building noise over the couple of days that we were there. We were quite surprised this was taking place in the middle of high season. The pool was very small for the amount of villas on the site.

What was the highlight of L'ermitage - Franschhoek Chateau & Villas
Wonderful
Beautiful setting, 10 minutes off the main strip. Less central than other places so good if you're looking for a quieter location. Honeymoon suite was grand with a gorgeous bathroom and 180 view of the lake and mountains behind it. The staff were friendly and helpful and helped us organise massages for during our stay. Breakfast and dinner were good but not exceptional. There's also a really sweet little swimming pool to relax in.
